La notizia della vittoria di Donald Trump alle elezioni americane arriva durante la Cop22 di Marrakech, alcuni giorni dopo l’entrata in vigore degli Accordi di Parigi, ma si aprono nuovi scenari.
E’ infatti ben conosciuta la posizione del nuovo presidente Usa, che in più occasioni si è espresso contro l’accordo sul clima e si è dimostrato scettico sul riscaldamento globale, mettendo in discussione gli impegni assunti dagli Usa.
Una per tutte, ricordiamo la frase del 2012 “The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make US manufacturing non-competitive”.
Secondo l’Alleanza per il Clima italiana, i lavori sono ricominciati all’insegna della normalita’ ma al side event organizzato dalla IETA (International Emission Trading Association) dal titolo “U.S. elections impacts: immediate assessment” si e’ registrato il tutto esaurito.
